How’s your Bowel health?
Corn Challenge
A wellness counselor once challenged me to a corn test and encouraged me to use a stool under my feet during bowel movements, so I would like to challenge you too!
Eat corn for lunch or dinner (not creamed corn) and observe how much time it takes for you to have a bowel movement. Look to see if you observe corn in your stool and hopefully you see corn kernels within 24 hours. Corn isn’t easily digested and more than likely will appear whole even after digestion. If you don’t see corn within 24 hours, you may not be digesting food efficiently, and will perhaps benefit from a cleanse.
Stool Challenge
Now, for the stool part of the challenge. Place a stool under your feet during your next bowel movement. Do you strain? Did you have the feeling of completion? The stool promotes a squat position, which straightens the rectum resulting in strain free and more complete bowel movements.
